Just Outside Prestatyn hailed from Prestwich, consisting of:

When asked about the name (which actually came about because they wrote much of their songs in a holiday caravan located…just outside Prestatyn) the band usually mutter something about ‘a girl they all used to know’

Actually rehearsed in the schoolroom kitchen at Our Lady of Grace, Prestwich village.

Asked why, Damien would reply:
'We get a much better sound in the kitchen…get a good rattle of the cups!'
