There's not much to be found on David Carey Hughes, who shouldn't be confused with the famous tenor David Hughes, who performed as a soloist for the Hallé and at Glyndebourne during the time. David Carey Hughes did perform with the Hallé choir, but wasn't as well known. At the same time he did this, David was also treasurer and secretary of Hyde Baptist Church and a computer systems adviser for International Computers and Tabulators, Ltd., balancing all three.
