Christine Elizabeth Hibbert was a student at the Northern School of Music. During the time of her marriage to a David Carey Hughes, Christine was a music teacher at Marple Hall Grammar School for Girls. She was also an organist, Sunday school teacher and choir member at Newtown Methodist Church. With her new husband, she would live in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
