Place
Boneyard (Bolton)
Jack Stokes says:
I was doorman at Boneyard. Morris Epilet, black guy other. Owned by little guy called Terry. Jimmy Saville wanted £100 fee paid upfront. He was living in a caravan at the time. Donovan was booked before fame, pulled out when he hit the charts. The club was above a piano showroom on Manchester Road, Bolton. The Pretty Things played there, had my back to Viv Prince's drums... fantastic.
