Motivation

No definitive biog yet but Colin Robinson remembers: "The band was put together in the early 1980s by ex-Buzzcocks bass player Steve Garvey. The line-up was: Steve Garvey - bass, ex-Buzzcocks Dave Rowbotham - guitar, ex-Durutti Column, ex-Mothmen ("Cowboy Dave", as featured in a Happy Mondays song) Snuff - drums (later in Distant Cousins I think) A vocalist whose name I can't remember The band gigged around South Manchester - Andy Hieke and Colin Robinson from Night Visitors were their sound engineers. Steve and the vocalist emigrated to New York around 1983. Steve now lives in Pennsylvania and has a recording studio. Dave Rowbotham was killed in Manchester sometime during the 1990s."
