Frederick Power writes;
"My name is Fred Power that is me in the picture holding the Fender Bass I got this bass when I first played with Johnny Martin and the Paiges in 1959 the group broke up in 1961 we got Dave Prentice then hence the name change.
The photos were taken by the manchester evening news and we played in the canteen for thier lunch break as a thankyou for letting the group use the roof.
