Once described as ‘Manchester’s renaissance man’ & the ‘Judge Jules of indie’ by the Manchester Evening News, Andy has done most jobs in the music industry, from A&R with Polydor Records, label management for several indie record labels, artist manager for post punk new wavers

B-Movie & Paul Haig, in house gig promoter at Night & Day, late night alternative radio DJ for 96.2 The Revolution & as a club DJ at ‘Get A Grip’ and resident at the legendary ‘Smile’ night at The Star & Garter plus numerous one off gigs

He can often be found as master of ceremonies at many a gig or after show party and has DJ'd for the likes of The Buzzcocks, The Chameleons, Peter Hook, New Model Army, Gary Numan, Soft Cell, The Strokes and The Wedding Present amongst others

This wealth of experience eventually led Andy into educational circles as an Associate Academic, where he has shared his knowledge & skills learnt in the music business on music industry foundation degree programs validated by Manchester Metropolitan University & The University of Salford.
