"Together were Jonathan Donaghy and Suddi Raval.
Their biggest record was Hardcore Uproar which after being the most in-demand undeground record of 1990 on its release reached number 12 in the UK singles chart.
The band formed in 1989 after meeting at the infamous Blackburn parties which were also named Hardcore Uproar.
The band named the track after the parties after the organisers agreed to allow the band to record the crowds of one of the biggest illegal "raves" the organisation had staged. Coincidentally the party which the band recorded was later raided by Police and all people who were associated with the organisers and DJs were arrrested and charged with tressapping and breaking and entering. The band narrowly escaped arrest as they removed all recording equipment moment before the raid. A news paper clipping reporting the event can be found at the artists website."
