Rockin Ricky says:
"I started my career in the famous 2 Eyes Coffee Bar in 1959 serving coffee to the many Rock & Roll stars of the time plus those that were discovered there; TERRY DENE, WEE WILLIE HARRIS, TOMMY BRUCE plus many more. I then came back to Manchester and started singing in the pubs and clubs in the sixties, then in the seventies I formed my own band The Velvet Collars. In 1976 we got into the guinness book of records for playing rock & roll for 144 hours non stop.
I recorded two songs in 1977 which became successfull for me in 1978 in europe, they were someone someone/sheila." (Submitted 19.07.07)
