Carrie Williams (vocals) started Curvilinear as a solo project in 2000 before joining forces with Otto Smart (guitar & vocals) and Simone Tripodi (guitar & vocals), whilst they all worked at Cornerhouse.
The band have also worked under the name Pirate Jenny and Harmonium.
Releases so far include 'Elevator' featuring Amanda Simpson, Ivan Stott and Ollie Brice (on the Switchfilcker compilation 'Sealed with a Loving Flick') and 'Empedocles' (on Solid Earth's 'Grounded' compilation).
Otto Smart is also a member of The Montgolfier Brothers and a recording artist in his own right as 'The Otto Show'.
