Cock ‘A’ Hoops

Cock A Hoop' originally from Wolverhampton - two brothers on guitar and bass - Frank Spencer on piano and vocals. Frank had 2 thumbs on his left hand therefore had to play the keys side on with that hand to prevent two notes being struck. They were managed and booked out by Chris Wright (Chrysalis ) His acts at that time were 'Ten Years After) and Jethro Tull. The brothers left and the band re-grouped fronted by Frank Spencer. Bruce Mitchell joined on drums with Graham Orr on guitar and Graham Simpson (his next band was Roxy Music) on bass.
