Scores of mourners paid tribute to Tony Wilson at his funeral today (Monday 20th). The service was held in his favourite church, the Hidden Gem off John Dalton Street, with the wake carrying on at One Central Street afterwards. Thoughts have now turned to commemorating Tony's life. Visit the BBC Manchester site to register your ideas.
Below is some footage of Tony in conversation at Urbis, shot by MDMArchive in 2005.
'Control', the hugely anticipated Anton Corbijn film about the life of Ian Curtis, which credits Tony Wilson as co-producer, will be released in the UK on October 5th.
