MDMArchive has teamed up with Manchester City FC for 'Sounds of the City' - an exhibition exploring the link between Manchester's twin passions - football and music. The exhibition is set to run from September 2006 to the end of the year.
MDMArchive sourced a large amount of the artefacts on display, which include a signed Noel Gallagher guitar, a burnt Doves guitar rescued from a studio fire, Mani's original working out notes for 'Fool's Gold' and Reni's paint-covered hat from Kevin Cummins' famous shot of the Stone Roses.
The exhibition is at the Man City museum which is housed above the shop at the City of Manchester Stadium. Entry to the exhibition is £5 for adults and £3 for kids/seniors/students.
