Play/Record (Session 01) - a Sunday afternoon session of live DJs, talks and digital archiving to celebrate the Defining Me: Musical Adventures in Manchester exhibition at The Lowry.

Play / Record is a special 'show-and-tell' event where we invite you, the Manchester music fan, to bring in, digitise and preserve your own music memorabilia.

Whether it's tickets, photos, badges, flyers, posters, artwork or press: bring it all, scan it, and upload it to our online archive with your own story!

Music comes from ex-Hacienda DJ John McCready, who will be playing a special Manchester-centric set, and there will be a one-off presentation from exhibition designers, Pin.

Pin will call on some of their most interesting collaborators to discuss their own personal musical adventures and the role of visual design within the musical landscape of Manchester.
