'Joy Division' - The Documentary, a two hour film directed by Grant Gee, is showing tonight at 8.30pm, for one night only, at Vue Cinemas, Salford Quays, as part of Salford Film Festival.

Featuring interviews with the surviving band members, and contributions from Alan Hempsall, Jez Kerr and Malcolm Whitehead amongst others, the film examines the band’s story as depicted through never-before-seen live performance footage, personal photos, period films and newly discovered audio tapes.

This showing of 'Joy Division' will be opened by Peter Hook.
