We've been contacted by an author planning a book based in Manchester during the late seventies punk scene. The book - a mix of historical fact and fiction - will attempt to capture the flavour of the city around this period, focusing particularly on the risks to alternative dressers on the streets, the bus station, the all night bus, and the general energy and passion of the scene.
