We are delighted to hear that Salfordian music legend Graham Nash is to be given an Honorary Degree by the University of Salford.
Members of staff from the university are invited to attend a celebratory event on 30th September, which will include a concert and performances given by students.
Veterans of the 1960s music scene in Manchester, such as musician Danny Hardman and the
ManchesterBeat community, have long campaigned for greater recognition for Graham, whose songs and voice have left an indelible mark on global music culture.
