I'm currently in the throes of writing a book on the extremely important part that Manchester played in the very early days of punk. My primary focus is on the people who were the first to embrace it, coming from the various musical backgrounds of Pips, Northern Soul, Glam and Iggy. I'm not too interested in the stuff everyone knows about. June would be an absolute gem of a person to interview and contribute to it. I have started a piece on So It Goes as this was where Sex Pistols first tv appearance happened, but only limited information. You are certainly not the only fascinated person!
