“Is this 1990 or 1991? Says 1990 on the flyer,i think i was at this ,really hot sumer as i can recall.Chorlton was so much more natural in those days before cafe bar culture took over, less crowded, less traffic, a much more pleasent place to be,everyone was buzzing in 1990. I need a time machine.”
“Sorry, I found this on the internet.I didn't realise it was already on the mdma.Apoligies for using your artefact.I have added this Brickhouse Flyer instead.”
“It was Republica before Kaleida.I remember playing there loads in the mid 90's.
Before Republica it was called PJ Bells.
It changed to Kaleida in 1997. It didn't survive for long.It ceased to be by 1998, i'm almost certain.”
“Top story, I was the same age aswell. I first heard about the stone roses from a class mate saying that the latest fashion in music is this band called the stone roses. He wouldn't shut up about them. He must of watched that program! He started growing his hair like Ian Brown after that. Then we all did!”
“I used to be in a band with nick langstaff and marina from 1996 to 2001 the band was called polly's overload.Nick left Uglifruit to form this band.Have you got any pictures of Nick Langstaff.
“I first heard the beans on a pirate radio station in 1995. Manc underground at its best.
Could be described as industrial.Extremely influenced by the city and perceptions on city existance and surroundings ,clever and fresh.
Fusions of programmed sounds and avant garde guitars make this band as experimental as early Kraftwork.”
