“Hi Linda, Its 8 years since I last saw anyone from that time, in fact he was the first person I went to Pips with July 1975, 35 years ago!!!!!! After seeing John Miles at the Apollo on a Saturday in March 77(and then late into Pips, I thought he would never stop),I didnt see anyone till Blondie in 1999 and then Alice Cooper/Sparks/Santana over a 6 month period a few years back.”

“I was a regular there every weekend from 1974-1978,the low lifes returned after Mike Daly left so the place wasnt for me,but it did seem thee place to meet up,a good Juke Box as well although changing TheBoys are Back in Town for Mississippi was unforgiveable.”

“They also had a place at Prestwich in the 70's where I was almost a regular on Saturdays,a good selection of anything and one of the blokes behind the counter did some DJing at Phillips Park Hall around 1976 ish.”
