A great lost music venue of the 80's was the 'International 1' on Anson Road junction with Dickenson Rd. Now a Turkish supermarket. It was a fantastic place for gigs and some great bands played there eg REM!

“Didnt realise that Dr Feelgood played International 1 - damn! I lived just down the road and went to many great concerts there, it must be my favourite all time venue. Pity I wasn't as much into Feelgood then as I am now! Anyway, seeing Wilco Johnson in a few weeks; some compensation!”
