“i saw the jerks in mid-late 1989 at butterflies in oldham. still remains one of the best giggs i have been to. around that time as everyone knows manchester was in the middle of a real buzz and before it broke in 1990 people were looking for the next band to make it. the jerks for me at that time were my next big band. didn't quite turn out that way but i still have the demo tape from that night and the lead singer did live in the same block of maisonette's (nice) later to be pulled down. also saw rubber orange at the witchwood in ashton under-lyne late 1990 early 1991?”
