Anti-Section 28 gig organised by local queercore acts Stephen Nancy and Desolation Angels. A sold out, thoroughly bolshy and energetic night which raised £1000 or Stonewall' campaign against Section 28. The article is from City Life magazine, which is now no more.

I quite liked The Music but this gig wasn't too great for me.

Their first gig in town, I think, after a showcase at the BOTW which had Tony Wilson raving about them. You could feel the energy but the sound was diabolical.

Good gig this one. Enjoyed Morning Star. Moco rocked! Lead singer was down in the audience and put his fist through the ceiling tiles at one point. Kinesis were a great band - could have taken it a lot further.
