Square Peg, Round Hole: decades of (gay) involvement in Manchester.

This collection of artifacts covers a wide span in our history of gay Manchester and also our personal involvement in the many aspects of nightclubbing, including the Hacienda, Factory, Ethos, Club La-La and others. Included are some personal memories of nightclubbing generally and features the innovative weekly gay all-nighters ‘Strangeways’ a first for the Gay Village … Whilst most of the artwork and design was produced by ourselves, there are some pieces we (individually or jointly) produced that relate to Manchester clubs, bands or events to which we have been connected over the years.
