For many Bugged Out at Sankeys was THE best night out ever in Manchester and we were involved on a regular basis with some Paper parties which saw us invite the like of Dave Clarke, DJ Hell & Kevin Saunderson to join us.
Lots of (then) local heads each & every week as well as Boggy & Rob Bright as residents.
There was even some idiots in helmets called Daft Punk on the week before us one month too...whatever happened to them?

A quarter of a century of music, parties, good times & many memories of Paper Recordings. Paper has been pushing all things deep house and disco from the furthest reaches of the world via the good old North of England since the early Nineties. We kicked off in 1994, leading the upsurge in popularity of UK house music within an underground scene previously dominated by a soundtrack from US cities like Chicago, Detroit and New York. Enhanced by a strong visual identity, as well as impeccable musical quality control Paper was, and is one of the world’s most treasured record companies. Today it continues to be funk-fuelled and bottom heavy for the digital age with a new stable of artists spanning the globe. The label continues to be much loved and well respected and most importantly, is still putting out great music to rave to!
