Demo Tape
Bootleg Stall, Underground Market
1983

Haven't seen this mentioned on here. There used to be some great stalls in the underground market. The stall selling nothing but bootlegs back then was a gold mine of unreleased recordings.

Not sure how long it was there but it disappeared by around early 86. It was certainly there a few years.

“Remember this stall well. It was in some far flung corner of the market. Bought Joy Division tapes, the Warsaw RCA LP, Ideal for Living 12" pic disc and a brilliant quality Cure Live album as well. Tapes were £3 each and vinyl about £12 (still got the vinyls boxed up in the loft.)”

“Yep, you went to a gig somewhere in Manchester then went to the stall about a week later to get the cassette boot of same gig.”
