Latest release from Manchester based V,2. A change in line up,a change in style. The band progresses enourmously from the early days, the days of “Speedfreak… Nothing to do”. Sadly deleted, though still in demand. (Another Spiral Scratch ? or can we expect a re_release?).
THE NEW ONE…. A12” Single on Tony Davidson’s new T.J.M. Label.Sleeve? Superb. Chrystal clear artwork.Lovely graphics. Great pics.Label? Neat,Neat,Neat…………
Does it PLAY? …… It plays.Power from start to finish.Ian Nance,Ex. Panik,Power guitar supreme,screaming out above Marcs rock steady rhythm
Completely representative of the band onstage.Onstage? WOW… Baby you should see em now.Make GARY GLITTER look like an amateur.A lot of bread,alot of planning, a lot of WORK gone in there, really pays off.Cop a load of them photographs on the sleeve.
Produced at Arrowsound Manchester, Engineering faultless as ever.Vocals straight up and at em.(Well,Hes big enough aint’ he?).
B’Dale’s abetter drummer than even HE says he is.Stan the Man on bass,back with a vengeance…….
Good value for money, they used another strong track for the B…side,Nice one, T.J.
Hoping to do an article/interview with V.2. in the very near future. Meanwhile, give the disc a whirl,and go see V.2. You’ll be impressed……..

CITY FUN FINANCE
The initial outlay was £16.24. We printed (approx) 1000 copies. 250 copies had 1 page ruined(we will reprint it). 50 copies are write-offs. We’ve probably given away 50 copies. That leaves 650 copies sold at 10p (7p to shops). That should give about £60. WE’ve actually received £ What happened to the rest we don’t know.
