808 state a little worse for wear, after their 1992 gig in Kawasaki (Tokyo), (i hope its after!). With Japanese Hip Hop act Denki Groove.

Denki Groove came to Mcr in 89 to work at Spirit Studios initialy to be produced by Graham (sorry I keep being 3rd person, but hey) but due to being overly busy i think Mark Stagg did them.
They stayed at the Albany Guest House in Chorlton and lived on Chipen>gravey, which is something they liked to shout a lot.
They were hugely succesful later on in Japan and had their own tv show (a bit like the Beasty Boys meets the Monkeys) also they had some involvement with UFO.
