Mick Burns Rhythm Kings
1969

Mick Burns Rhythm Kings was a Manchester based jazz band and played around the Lancs and Yorks jazz clubs in the 60's.They made one recording at the Eroica Studios in Altrincham. This was at one time released on cassette, maybe by Norman Fields jazz labe, but is no longer available.
The members were:
Mick Burns and Willie Entwistle, Cornet/trumpet.
John Ronan, trombone.
Ray Hayes, clarinet.
John Reade, piano.
Jim Lyas, tenor banjo.
Colin Turner, sousaphone.
Brian Ellwood,drums.
