I actually worked on Bickershaw Festival for Jeremy Beadle distributing publicity in advance for the festival selling tickets etc. 4 years later I helped found Deeply Vale, if you went to either event you probably got the nearest you could to West coast San Fransico Festival/Woodtock Festival vibes coming to the UK north west but with the added Manchester ingredient of rain sometimes.
