The Harlem Hot Stompers playing in the Jazz cellar of the White lion Pub, Withington. A very poular venue which was usually packed every Friday night.
Band members were:
John Reade piano
Pete Haslam trombone
Brian Ellwood drums
Murray Smith trumpet
Jim Lyas banjo
Colin Turner sousaphone
Tony Fawkes clainet/leader
and usually Julie Flynn, vocals.
