Zoo

18th March 1982

ZOO :- Ged Berry - drums,Phil Bentley - bass,backing vocals,Andy Burke - keyboards,Eric Mansell - guitar;Dave Thompson - lead vocals,occasional synthesizer.

Another great "lost" Manchester band Zoo perform their seminal song in Oldham at their penultimate gig. The last survivor of the late '70's Denton/Haughton Green punk/new wave triumvirate, ie Abdominal Pain/Dislodge/Subterfuge, Zoo were the renamed, much evolved Dislodge although by early 1981 drummer Ged Berry was the only remaining member of the original line-up. Now featuring Eric Mansell (ex Abdominal Pain)on guitar and Dave Thompson (ex Subterfuge) on vocals and occasional synthesizer ,this live performance captures them at their peak. Sadly there is no known surviving video footage of Zoo
