Murray's Music City
1990

Righto gonna add some quickies here. These are from papers/ mags/ flyers I’m gonna send to the Hulme/ Moss Side, archive so I’ve nicked the musical bits out to put on here. It’s the first time I’ve looked up this particular stuff since I first ventured on this site about a year ago so it’s kind of brand new to me all over again. Hope some of it helps...
This one the first and only add I’ve found for the original “Murray’s Muzic City” on Princess Rd.
From a local paper for local people called the Area News, covering Moss Side over to Longsight and all points in between.

“I had the pleasure of meeting (Mr) Murray yesterday and what an incredible character he is, he had some amazing stories about the shop and his trips overseas selling music, he was telling me about his trips to Ireland to sell reggae which I didn't realise had a big market, but he put me right!”
