I took this photo of Danny Henry, a.k.a. Danny The Dancer, in the mid-90s in the basement of Night and Day, Oldham Street, directly after he took a dance class, around lunch-time.
Danny was a fantastic club dancer all through the 80s but during the 90s he focussed more on teaching and performance.
You can still find him at Manchester School of Samba events, and busking with Jali in Piccadilly.
