I know this pictures been up before but it would be great to try and track down and identify the people in this fantastic picture by Kevin Cummins
Maybe if there is enough interest we could recreate the photo with old and new manchetsre bands outside the refurbished venue

If you are in the picture or now of people in it get in touch

If this has been tried before sorry for lack of originality but this picture just captures everything thats great about manchester music, hope, pride, passion, determined, honest, not self serving or posing,

“Hello, I am in the picture (11th from the left, tall guy with glasses at the back). I am stood next to Mike Shaw (bass) and Peter Hibbert (drums) we were Slight Seconds.
The only other people I know in the picture are Louise Alderman (second from left), my auntie; and Martine Hilton (blonde, 5th from left).
Oh yes, I see Frank Ewart (4th from right) long hair with glasses, guitarist in Manchester Mekon.
I recognise some of the faces but names elude me...it is 30+ years ago :(”

“The person stood on the road far right is Steven Murray of Fast Cars, Stuart Murray is next left then Craig Hilton, then Tony Dyson. Fast Cars have 2 tracks on the album.
The 2 lads stood next to the one in white trousers are Mick and Joe Duffy from IQ Zero”
