Artefact
City Life 150, May '89.
Add for M/c. comp; now available on C.D.. wow!.Before that these sort of things were only released on C60s/ 90s.Never bought a C.D. till I was given a Walkman C.D. player in '96 and slowly but surely came round to the "modern" way of doing things; a luddite from creation....I've actually gone back to buying vinyl now though. I dunno, feels like you've earned it, sounds better, is tactile, got artwork and causes a warm fuzzy feeling inside as I sit there with my pipe and slippers.Hearing/ watching D.J. types playing off laptops, although definitely convenient and valid and likely to prevent bad back syndrome, common amongst old skool D.J.s, from hiking round bags of records, half cut at 4 in the morning, one thing I don't like is when they segway/ beatmix one killer choon 3 minutes in, into another only to repeat the same thing. I think the art is in the composition so run the bleedin' track! though there's nowt wrong with being a good old fashioned top class selector, at which some are so much better than others....
Just watching the river flow....
