Yazz and her positive affirmation of "The Only Way is Up", must have been quite consoling around that time.
It's surprising reading through a lot of these old press articles how harsh and critical the mag was of pretty much everybody/ everything, local or otherwise..Jeez they must have been a hard bunch to please! It's surprising how any of these small poppies ever made it to tall poppies. It may have been a case of the "Boy named Sue" syndrome, that which doesn't kill you only makes you stronger etc....
