Artefact

Press
Piccadilly Records
1988

From City Life student special,Oct.’88. List of all the relevant youth orientated record shops in the Manchester prefecture. We used to pop into a classical music shop just down from Piccadilly Records, when it was beneath the hotel just because the girl there was “dead fit”. We’d pretend to look round but never buy anything of course, and I’m sure if she ever noticed us at all her indifference concealed it well; just another teenage crush.....Lads I know here in this neck of the woods, who still do the D.J. thing , rate Piccadilly Records as a “go to” store on the world stage; something called Juno as well.....Don’t recall this pole-dancing emporium in the photo.....
