Heavyfeet

HeavyFeet, a name synonymous with beats, breaks and bass, and not just because that's the name of their weekly FM radio show! From their high profile remixes of Skepta, Roisin Murphy and DJ Zinc to their recent 'Sawdust & Sultanas EP' on legendary New York based label, Plant Music, this Mancunian production duo are busy showing the music industry and artists alike that they're here for the long haul, continually blogging their working process and the waves that they are making through their collaborative ventures via their official website. Grown up garage and heavy house flavours combined with solid production has helped their output find its way into many a Serato cart and CD wallet over the last three years, with their steady stream of singles via their '12x12' project (12 different tipped singles released over 12 months, each featuring a different vocalist and remixer) finding support from the likes of DJ Craze, Todd Edwards, Diplo, Skream, Todd Terry, MJ Cole and Roska. Fresh from their recent three week long tour of Australia, and with a slew of great new music cued for release throughout summer 2011, checking out two of the UK's most 'beats, breaks and bass' focused producer/DJs in action, is a must!
