“I read your comment about Richards guitar, yes you're right, he loved that thing, and it was indeed unique,and when he played it, it was absolutely mind blowing stuff, gawd ! he sure could play, and apparently still does....would love to hear him again. We have a great guitarist here in Oz, his name is Tommy Emmanuel, he reminds me very much of Richards style and talent.

“My name is Steve Sagar and Richard has known me longer than I have, he can remember me before I developed a memory. My father is Mike Sagar and I possibly know more about the life of this band "The Cresters" than most. I have a picture of Richard, Ian Banister (Bass), Malcome Clarke and Archie the drummer at the time if anyone would like to see it I will upload it. I still see my known uncle Richard to this day 28th March 2018 and i going to see him this Saturday the 31st.

I thought that the Cresters in 1961 were Richard and John Harding, Malcolm Clarke and Johhny Casson. And later your father was enjoying them!? But I hope you can tell me more. I read that Malcolm Clarke died at Cancer in 1968, but later I see pictures of him when he was older!? And your father had some throat-problems or something like that!? Can you tell me de thrue story? And mayby you still have some pictures of that time? I hope you can help me a little bit!
