The PRO BUMBA COLONY was a 2 day recording project by
Colin Seddon (Biting Tongues ,Innersense Percussion,808 State drummer) and Graham Massey (808 State,Biting Tongues) Recorded at Zombie Studios Manchester (Out of The Blue Studios,Relentless Studios,) by engineer Phil Kirby
(Yargo , Biting Tongues -drummer). A loose concept album with a story about a South American Mining Colony in Deep Space. The adjoining studio belonged to the band Sub Sub ) and had only just recently burnt down forcing them to start again as The Doves. Mr Scruffs album ,Keep It Unreal ,was recorded here around this time,as well as various 808 Mixes.
Zombie was also used for Mr Scruffs album "Keep It Unreal"around the same time. Previously the building housed Out Of The Blue Studios and was located on Blossom St in Ancoats Manchester.Previous to Out Of The Blue the studio was called Relentless and was built by Tony Roberts
