Add for The No. 1 club. Only went in there a couple of times round the mid ‘80s; don’t remember it being that flash though. I think the Stringfellows tag may have been a tad misleading. I Think it had ballustrading all round the dancefloor almost like a picket fence, enclosed like a pen, with some plush couches on a raised level. Dead posh!
The other add for the wine cellar where you could get a kebab and a glass of bucks fizz(!) would have been way out of my league back in them days.....Kebabs on the dancefloor...could be due a comeback.....
