A pertinent and not too far off the mark comparison between The Hacienda and Rotters from the “Mick and Dean” column of City Life Jan/Feb ’83, featuring Bernard Hill on the cover discussing "Boys From The Black Stuff" which was powerful television at the time, as was "Auf Weidersein Pet", which was more played for laughs.
