I think this is all the editions of Shy Talk in one place. Nicely shows the progression in production values.
I bumped into Steve Shy a while back and I'm sure he said there were only three editions printed, even though issue three promises a fourth.
I bought my first one from Barney while at the Ranch, he told me he was now in a band and I didn't see him for ages. Issue three reviews new bands including Warsaw saying they are having trouble finding a drummer, don't have a manager and need all the help they can get to find gigs. Later in the issue is an advert that says "Wanted: Drummer into Clash, Pistols etc...etc Ready to start giging Bernard:" and a telephone number. The rest, as they say, is history!

“Steve told me a while back (well about 7 years back) that the fourth issue was published, but I don't recall ever seeing a copy, or knowing anone who has seen a copy. As I recall from '77 it was to feature an article on the Pistols by Paul Morley and an interview with the Heartbreakers by Stephen Morrissey.”
