“Strangely I had tickets for this, I was but found out Sisters Of Mercy & Skeletal Familiy were playing at the University on the same night so foolishly flogged them and went there instead. (As I was going through a goth phase at the time.) In hindsight it was a very poor decision. Aztec Camera I think had left Postcard/Rough Trade and were on the rise with Warners and the very-very underrated Go-Betweens probably were plugging their lush album ''Spring Hill Fair''.
