Royal Family And The Poor, Peter Hook
1985

A review of Royal Family and the Poor album from Breakout music paper Feb. '85; a band who I don't recall seeing though I often heard the name." That man" appears again, this time on backing vocal duties. It seems Mr. Hook took more interest in Factory bands than others ; then again he was always out and about at gigs so probably had a finger on the pulse of the local goings-on......
Other stuff mentioned in this paper are local bands Fontana Mix with an album review, Katch 22 from Salford with a single release and a review of the North West's 50+ recording studios, mentioning Strawberry and one called Crimson Sound Studios in Urmston.......
