“I was at that gig- infact I filmed it, and yes Ed Barton was involved in a scene with the sound guy. Whilst Ed was doing his set the sound engeneer wandered off for a few minutes and the equipment started playing up, so Ed called the engineer but he wasn't there. So he threatened to break the CD deck if he didn't help, so the engineer got on stage and head-butted Ed, who swung his acoustic at him. Then there was a scuffle on the floor with the crowd stood around watching bemused. I've got it all on video. The engineer claimed that Ed was being unreasonable all day and that this was the last straw! Happy days....”
