Here is an Emergency Exit sign from The Hacienda.
I'd love to be able to tell you that i had an intimate relationship with this Emergency Exit sign and having after bonded with it one night at Nude, after two very strong purple ohms, i made it my mission in life to save it from the wrecking ball. But i didnt. I bought it for £5 from the auction they had after they knocked the place down because i couldnt afford any of the good stuff and i couldnt get one of the girders home on the bus.

“It has had a variety of homes - all of which have annoyed my wife. It currently sits on the hearth of an unused fireplace. Thats the sort of metaphor Morrissey might have once used isnt it? or John Shuttleworth? Same difference.”
