“Wow, I played on one of these gigs supporting The Revillos at Bolton Sports Centre, I waas in an Irish punk band from Belfast at the time called 'Victim' the female singer from The Revillos clouted a punk girl over the head with one of them cast iron mic stands, split her head clean open and took her straight to the floor, we were at the side of the stage having just done our support slot, the whole audience who were all punks (Revillos not punks) just came surging forward dragging some members of the band off the stage, it ended up as a riot and the place got trashed inc. the box office, it was very scary to be in the middle of all this, we managed to escape to the dressing room but the door got smashed down, fortunately they saw we were Victim and left us alone, very scary stuff, be interesting if anyone else remembers this?”
