I had this memory of there being a bomb onstage but had never seen a picture of the Van Halen 1980 UK tour, then I found this...June 20th 1980 at the Apollo. I went to about 400 gigs at the Apollo in the 80's and this was one of the worst, they were too loud and didn't seem interested, it was like a long jam session. Only saw them again at Donington but was too pissed to know what was going on!
